Drug Interactions
Usage of Generic Generic Timoptic with beta-adrenergic blocking agents should be kept under strict observation for potential additive effects of beta-blockade. The ophthalmic solution interacts with calcium antagonists giving way to atrioventricular conduction disturbances, left ventricular failure, and hypotension. It interacts with catecholamine-depleting drugs causing effects of hypotension.
Generic Timoptic Drug Contradictions
Patients with bronchial asthma, a history of bronchial asthma, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease should be contradicted from using this drug. The usage of this drug is contradicted with patients suffering from sinus bradycardia, second or third degree atrioventricular block, overt cardiac failure, cardiogenic shock, or hypersensitivity to any component of this product. Patients being administered with quinine should not be administered with Generic Generic Timoptic.
